Frog on a Bike do their stuff...
Practically the whole audience is up on the floor for this one....

The Village Hall Committee organised their third winter Barn Dance on the 16th February 2008.

All the 60 tickets were sold and once again we were entertained by the local band Frog on a Bike. The five piece band kept us on our toes all night although the dancing on occasions was hilarious to watch. Several times there seemed to be dancers moving in all directions but generally by the end of the set everyone seemed to have found out what they should really have been doing.

Refreshments were organised by the wives of the committee and some young helpers and it all seemed to disappear very quickly. During the interval a raffle was organised which raised £115.00. We would like to thank everyone for being so generous. The evening was brought to a close with a large circular dance that everyone joined in with great enthusiasm.

Next event for your diary The Summer Dance and BBQ being held on the 21st June 2008 with the same two bands that we had last year. This was probably our most successful event ever. Tickets will be available shortly but we are restricted to only 100 so please reserve yours quickly with any of the members of the Village Hall Committee.
