The 3rd annual Carol Wagon slithered its way around a snow bound Maxey on the night of 18 December 2009.

Fortified by thoughts of a warm Village Hall with refreshments at the end of their endeavours a hardy crew of carol singers set out onboard the specially adapted trailer proovided once again by Graham Smitheringale of Manor Farm, Etton. More volunteers braved the snowy conditions underfoot during their door-to-door collections.

Over £400 was raised which this year will be donated to Sue Ryder Care and Papworth Hospital.
