Maxey Blue Bell Charity Club
News - Annual Funds Distribution
On Tuesday January 2007, in the Blue Bell pub, we were able to distribute £5000 to charities nominated by Maxey villagers.
They were:
Guide Dogs for the Blind Association
£500
Parkinson's Disease Society - Peterborough Branch

£500

Alzheimer's Society - Peterborough Branch
£1,000
MIND - National Association of Mental Health
£1,000
National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease
£1,000
Hunts, Cambs. & Peterborough Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre
£1,000

Representatives from all these charities came along to receive their cheques and each gave a short talk on where the money would be spent.

Each and everyone of the recipients are more than grateful for the help received and on behalf of the Charity Club I would like to thank all of you who have contributed to the fund and all that have given their time and effort in making our events successful.

Due to heavy traffic, Simon Mason of the Hunts, Cambs. & Peterborough Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre arrived late and unfortuately missed the group photo call.

We still managed a quick photo (Far left with Pat Summers) for the records and also include a separate shot of Kevin Bowyer (left) who got hidden at the back in our group shot.
