4.1. Play Area
The Clerk reported that the “No Dogs2 sign was still outstanding. He also reported that he had been advised that it is not possible to extend the ship in the toddler’s area. The state of the hedge was discussed and the Clerk was requested to arrange for it to be cut. |

4.4. Road Surfaces
The Clerk reported on a the latest situation:
Highways have no plans for further work on Etton Road
Orders have been placed to repair West End Rd (Tuckers Nook end)
Plans drawn up to resurface the other end in 2008/9 |

4.5. Lamp Standards
Those reported at the last meeting have been repaired. Cllrs reported two further failures, the Clerk to deal. |

4.6. Footpaths & Bridleways
4.6.1. The Clerk reported that the footpath officer was investigating the path leading off the end of West End Rd.The Clerk also reported that he had been advised that the bridleway around the lakes was to be closed. |

4.7. Police Officer
It was agreed that as he now appears to be the local police officer PC McCallum should be invited to the next meeting. |

5.1. Outstanding Applications update. The following situation was noted. |

It was agreed that a meeting should be arranged in the New Year with the planning authority so that the councillors can be updated on recent changes in procedure and the application of Section 106. |

The Clerk reported that the developer had been told that the building must be as the approved drawing. |

The Clerk reported that a search had shown that the property comprises of all the land to the path in the play area. |

The Clerk reported that the Smartwater Signs have arrived and have been handed to NHW. A further publicity campaign is expected in the New Year |

9.1. Cllr Perkins reported damage to the fence on the bridge over the cut on the Helpston Road. The Clerk to deal.

9.3. Cllr Boughton reported that the Kerb at the entrance to Barn Close was unsafe. The Clerk to contact Highways.
