On Friday 18 December 2009 the Photography Competition Prize Winners were presented with their awards at a short ceremony in the Village Hall. The competition was sponsored by Maxey Parish Council and organised by Maxey Life Magazine.

Parish Council Chairman Peter Hardy gave out the £25.00 prizes to category winners, Mick Stott, Rebecca Braid and Emma Hickling. Rebecca Braid won an additional prize of £25.00 for having her photo, 'At Maxey Mill' judged as the best overall enrty.
