200 Club
The Maxey Community Association runs a small village-wide lottery called the 200 Club, the proceeds of which (less prize funds distributed) are used to maintain and enhance the Village Hall.
The 200 Club has been successful over a number of years in raising additional funds that have assisted the trustees in keeping the structural fabric of the building (the former village school and a grade II listed building) in good repair.
We are always pleased to accept new members to the 200 Club: whether they be residents new to the village, existing villagers who have never played or previous members whose subscription has lapsed.
How the 200 Club Works
Participants may purchase 200 Club lottery number(s) at a rate of 20p per week per number, e.g. £10.40 pa per number. You may play more than one number.
Each month there are prizes of £30, £25 and £15. In addition there are bumper payouts of £100 in June and £200 in December each year.
To reduce administrative overheads as much as possible, our preferred method of payment is by annual Standing Order Mandate. Other payment methods are also available.
